- ***AMENDMENT*** The SIR has been extended from 20 June 2018 at 5:00pm CST to 13 July 2018 at 5:00pm CST Site visit information will be uploaded by COB Friday, 22 June 2018. ***AMENDMENT*** The site visit has been scheduled for 27 June 2018 at 8:00am PST. Please send a list of all attendees prior to the site visit to mary.ctr.littlefield@faa.gov. ***AMENDMENT*** Revised drawings and Scope of Work uploaded. The closing date for proposals has been extended from 13 July 2018 to 18 July 2018 at 5:00pm CST. Please send all proposals to Janice.Hammonds@faa.gov. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the Design and Build for Boat Dock Replacement and various repairs located at San Diego, CA (Mission Bay VOR). The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials (unless noted otherwise in the contract documents), and specialized equipment as necessary to perform the work described in the Scope of Work. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed-price type construction contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Site visit instructions can be found in (Section L, 3.2.2.3-63 Site Visit (Construction). ALL QUESTIONS REGARDING THE PROJECT/SPECIFICATIONS/PLANS MUST BE RECEIVED IN WRITING to mary.ctr.littlefield@faa.gov NO LATER THAN 5:00 P.M. CST ON JUNE 6, 2018 TO ALLOW FOR RESPONSES TO BE PROVIDED PRIOR TO DUE DATE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS; 20 June 2018 at 5 p.m. CST. Contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management, www.sam.gov on the date established for receipt of offers (June20, 2018). Reference AMS Clause 3.3.1-33, paragraph (d), if the offeror does not become registered in the SAM database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer may proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered Offeror. In addition, offerors must have customers complete a minimum of two (2) Experience Forms and return by closing date of 5:00 p.m. CST, June 20, 2018. The form is provided as a separate document under this announcement. The FAA reserves the right to review and verify each offerors program eligibility. Proposals must be received by Janice Hammonds no later than 5:00 p.m. CST, June 20, 2018. Emailed proposals shall be sent to mary.ctr.littlefield@faa.gov and must contain 6973GH-18-R-00132, FAACO #29357, as part of the email subject line. Any responses received after 5:00 p.m. CST, June 20, 2018 may not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of submittal vendor's response may be determined ineligible. Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the SIR process. This SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals. Therefore, any cost associated with the SIR submission is solely at the vendor s expense.
