Questions/Answers: 1. How many patients appoints per day? What are the busiest days? For the Hospital and Loch Raven Outpatient Clinic A: On average the BT Garage parks 225 vehicles a day and LR parks 35 a day. The busiest days are Mondays and Wednesdays 2. What is the policy when the valet parking is full? A: When parking slots are filled, vehicle are parked in the aisles as shown during the site visit 3. How often does a campus parking lot fill per day? A: Lots get filled in the mornings during 8-10am 4. What days do the clinics see patients? A: Clinics see patients Monday through Fridays 5. Is the valet required to stack park the vehicles or park them in the drive aisles? A: Park them in the drive aisles 6. When stacking vehicles in the drive lanes, is the 10 minute requirement still a requirement? A: Yes 7. If we are required to stack park in the aisles approximately how many cars in each aisle and how many aisles and total amount of cars. 6. A: Approximately 5 -8 cars in the one designated aisle 8. What kind of complaints has been filed about parking over the last 12 months? A: None 9. What issues are with the valet parking? A: None 10. Is the valet level of the garage dedicated only for valeted cars or is it shared? A: Shared 11. Is there any upcoming construction in any parking garage? If so, please provide detail. A: None currently scheduled 12. How many lanes are in the valet staging area and how many vehicles can each lane hold? A: Designated slots on one level only 13. What time does the valet service stop accepting vehicles at the end of the day for valet? A: Services stop at 5:00 pm 14. Please provide the valeted vehicle counts for the past 12 months by month and day (and if Possible by hour) for both sites A: On average the BT Garage parks 225 vehicles a day and LR parks 35 a day. 15. Page 41 para C.9 VAAR 852.237-7 titled INDEMNIFICATION AND MEDICAL LIABILITY INSURANCE (JAN 2008). Is Medical Liability Insurance required to valet vehicles? A: Clause removed from solicitation. Questions/ Answers: 1. Can you please provide historical data of how many cars per hour for the past 12 months? A: On average the BT Garage parks 225 vehicles a day and LR parks 35 a day. 2. If possible, can you please extend the due date to Friday, July 20 or at least until Tuesday, July 17? A: Extended through 7/18/2018 @ 12:00 3. A: Does not apply, Valet parking attendees will not have access to the VA System. 4. In the solicitation on page 6, Information System Design and Development, Does this apply to contractors/subcontractors on this contract? Does not apply, A: Valet parking attendees will not have access to the VA System. 5. in the solicitation on page 8, Information System Hosting, Operation, Maintenance, or Use. Since we are not provided computers from the VA do these pertain to contractors on this contract? A: Does not apply, Valet parking attendees will not have access to the VA System.
