Description
PROJECT LOCATION: Prairie Wetland Learning Center, 602 Minnesota State Highway 210 East, Fergus Falls, MN, Ottertail County ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is set-aside exclusively for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, with a size standard of $15 Million. The solicitation package will be available at www.FBO.gov and www.FedConnect.net on or about July 27, 2018, with a Bid Opening occurring on or about August 29, 2018. Bid Opening will be at 3:00 PM CST. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. This solicitation will NOT be available in hard copy. The solicitation package will include the following: FAR Clauses, Bid Schedule, Specifications, Drawings, Prevailing Wage Determination, Preconstruction Safety Checklist, and Bid Bond Form. Please ensure you have a complete downloaded solicitation package before submitting your Bid. It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure that they receive all appropriate solicitation documents to submit a competitive Bid. Contractors MUST be registered as "ACTIVE" in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to include Online Representations and Certifications at the time of Bid Opening to be eligible for this award. Address on SF1442 must match address in SAM.gov. THERE IS NO CHARGE TO REGISTER IN THIS SYSTEM. IT IS FREE TO REGISTER IN SAM. PLEASE NOTE THE NEW REQUIREMENTS AND POSSIBLE DELAYS FOR VENDOR REGISTRATIONS IN SAM. PROJECT CONSISTS OF: Work includes, but is not limited to, the following for the trail rehabilitation: Contractor shall furnish materials, labor and equipment necessary for the work described. This project includes paving of asphalt trails (approx. 2800 LF of 8 ft. wide), erosion control, seeding, demolition and removal of existing trails (approx. 2800 LF), subbase and base course preparation and installation.
