- Description
- The Air Dominance Division Development Branch, Eglin AFB FL, anticipates soliciting and awarding a contract modification under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS), 1151 E Hermans Rd, Tucson AZ, 85756 for procurement of equipment spares to facilitate more efficient configuration conversions and/or repairs of AMRAAM Captive Equipment (ACE) pods and Integration Test Vehicles (ITVs) supported by the RMS Field Team. This modification to the existing AMRAAM Field Team Support contract FA8675-16-C-0067 will ensure immediate availability of key ACE pod and ITV components and support equipment when required, and will avoid potential test mission delays. This procurement will include two (2) data recorders physically and functionally equivalent to CSR-2600R Calculex recorders, four (4) high capacity Removable Memory Modules (RMMs) compatible with CSR-2600R, two (2) data recorders physically and functionally equivalent to CSR-2300(V3) Calculex recorders, and six (6) RMMs compatible with the CSR-2300(V3). Under this acquisition, the Government also requires two (2) spare Environmental Control Units (ECUs) for the ACE pods. Finally, the contractor must procure or manufacture four (4) battery boxes to support Integration Test Vehicle (ITV) and AMRAAM Air Vehicle Instrumented (AAVI) keying and de-keying operations. The battery boxes must meet safety requirements for both hangar and flight line operations. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Responses must be received within 15 calendar days after the posted date of this synopsis. An ombudsman has been appointed in accordance with AFFARS 5352.201-9101. Before consulting with the ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the Contracting Officer for resolution. If resolution cannot be made by the Contracting Officer, the interested party may contact the Ombudsman (Interim), Ms. Jill Willingham, Acquisition Program Management Division (AFLCMC/AQP), Wright Patterson AFB, OH (937) 255-5472.
