Description

This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The Miami Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 1201 NW 16th St., Miami, FL 33125 is seeking potential sources capable of providing Computed Axial Tomography (CT) Scan Preventative Maintenance (PM) Service. The future contractor must provide PM Services for a Toshiba Aquillion LB and a Toshiba CAS-8805 on both an annual and quarterly basis per the life of the contract. Gray market items are Original Equipment Manufacturer s (OEM) goods sold through unauthorized channels in direct competition with authorized distributors. This source sought is looking for new OEM medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts-if necessary) for the Miami VA Medical Center. No remanufactures or gray market items will be acceptable. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334517  CT/CAT (computerized axial tomography) scanners manufacturing Interested parties should submit with their response the following information: 1. Company name and DUN # 2. POC information 3. Business size and socio-economic classification (for example SDVOSB, Woman-owned) 4. Is this item available on FSS Schedule? If so, provide contract #.
