Description

The VA John D. Dingell VA Medical Center (VAMC), Detroit MI, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source reasonably available, intends to compete, unrestricted, on a Brand Name Only basis w for furnishing 156ea. new Connex 6800 vital signs monitors, upgrading 89ea. Welch Allyn Connex Vital Signs Monitors with radio upgrade and receiving trade-in credit for 149 ea. Welch Allyn Vital Signs Monitors. NAICS 339112 applies, the small business size standard is 1000 Employees. The contractor shall deliver to the John D. Dingell VAMC, 4646 John R St., Detroit, MI 48201, by 30 days ARO. The basis of the Brand Name Only is due to the upgrades and keeping one standard Vital Signs Monitor platform across the facility. This synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is currently available. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be made available on or about 7/13/2018 and the closing date is anticipated to be 7/20/2018. The basic requirements of the procurement are below: Statement of Work GENERAL: The contractor shall provide a total of 156 vital sign machines to be used throughout the John D Dingell VAMC clinics with specific features and properties. The contractor shall also provide trade-in credit for existing vital sign machines that will be replaced. Contractor shall provide all tools, labor, equipment, materials, supervision, necessary to deliver and setup the vital sign machines that are being purchased to the Veterans Health Administration, John Dingell VA Medical Center 46467 John R Rd Detroit, MI 48201 The equipment shall be inspected and functionality to be verified by the vendor. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein. BACKGROUND: The Detroit VAMC is located in Detroit, MI encompassing acute medical, surgical, psychiatric, and long-term care. The hospital provides primary, secondary, and some tertiary care. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Within 30 Days ARO PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: 4646 John R Rd, Detroit, MI 48201. DAYS AND HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. excluding federal holidays.
