- Draft PWS Sources Sought Notice for Information Only: This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for a Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Letterkenny Army Depot is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources of supply. Negative replies are also sought. Contractor should not include any pricing. Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) is seeking potential sources of supply for the following items: 1. Annual Preventative Maintenance once per year IAW the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) recommendations for the following equipment; Maintenance Work on Carrier Vehicle Brakes Check the brake-lining thickness Suspension Check the function of the forced lever Hydraulic system Clean the magnetic rods of the hydraulic oil filer Electrical system Check the acid concentration of the batteries Tow bar coupling Check the bearing, Cotter pin, lower bushing, support ring, initial tension of the springs Vehicle engine Observe the maintenance intervals in the vehicle engine operator instructions. Record any maintenance work carried out in the enclosed maintenance log Transfer Case Change the oil Axle lines Lubricating the longitudinal cardan shafts between the gear units Wheels Rotate the wheels Steering -Check that the screw connections are tight and that the cotter pin has been fitted -Check all track rods and drag links for slack -Check rubber sleeves for damage Air Conditioning system Check hoses and refrigerant compressor Maintenance on the Superstructure Crane Engine -Observe the maintenance intervals in the crane engine operator instructions and record any maintenance work carried out in the enclosed maintenance log -Clean fuel Pre-Filter screen -Replace Filter Cartridge for fuel Pre-Filter Hydraulic system Clean the magnetic rods of the return flow filter Electrical system Check the acid concentration of the batteries Ball bearing slewing Check the tightness of retaining bolts Main Boom Lubricate locking pins and telescope slide faces Slewing gears Lubricate slewing gear pinion and gear rim Air conditioning system -Check hoses -Check Refrigerant Collector -Check Refrigerant Compressor SLI Service the slip ring assembly in the cable drums 2. Semi-Annual PM Services completed once per year IAW OEM recommendations: Maintenance Work on Carrier Vehicle engine -Observe the maintenance intervals in the vehicle engine operator instructions. Record any maintenance work carried out in the enclosed maintenance log -Change the fuel filter cartridge Axle Lines -Change the oil in the axle center drive -Final drives oil change Compressed air system Replace the granulate cartridge of the compresses air drier Hydraulic system -Have the suspension system pressure accumulators checked by Crane CARE or by an authorized workshop -Replace the venting filter for the hydraulic oil tank -Oil Sample Air conditioning system Check the entire air conditioning system Maintenance on the Superstructure Crane Engine -Observe the maintenance intervals in the crane engine operator instructions. Record any maintenance work carried out in the enclosed maintenance log -Change the fuel filter cartridge Main Hoist -Oil Change in transmission -Oil change in the break unit -Check the old oil Slewing gears Change the oil Hydraulic system Oil Sample Main Boom Check the locking system 3. Perform annual safety inspection and load/lift test as required per US Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) most current standard for cranes. Semi-annual PM, annual PM, and the Department of Labor, OSHA inspection with load/lift test for each crane. 4. Restorative Maintenance Services includes unscheduled and scheduled maintenance to repair equipment to proper working order according to OEM specifications. 5. CONTRACTOR MANPOWER REPORTING (CMR For the purposes of this RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The small business size standard is $7,500,000. If you believe another NAICS is more applicable based on the requirement, please so indicate and state the justification with your reply. If your firm is capable of requirements described in this RFI, please provide a Capability Statement to Mrs. Hawa Janneh, hawa.janneh.civ@mail.mil by 16 July 2018, 16:00 p.m. Eastern Time. In addition, the following information is requested: (1) Company cage Code, DUNS, name, address, point of contact, telephone number and email address; (2) Any small business status (8(a), HUB Zone, veteran-owned, women-owned, etc.); (3) Please indicate which NAICS code(s) and FSC codes your company usually performs under Government contracts (4) GSA contract number if applicable (5) Contractor must be authorized to make repairs on the cranes listed above. Please indicate qualifications, certifications or training. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies of documents posted on FBO will not be made available.
