- Attachment 14 Use and Nondisclosure (NDA) N0002418R2220 Request for Proposal This is Request for Proposal is for the procurement of an estimated quantity of forty-eight (48) Expeditionary 11m Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) over the next five (5) years under a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Background: An expeditionary variant of the 11m RIB is required to support an emergent and enduring mine countermeasures requirement. Specifically, this boat will support Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mine Countermeasure Platoons (EOD MCM PLT) that conduct operations in Very Shallow Water using the MK 18 Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) Family of Systems (FoS). Highest priority is placed on fielding the MK 18 UUV FoS with associated Expeditionary 11m RIB variants to conduct assigned missions. A configuration of the Expeditionary 11m RIB equipped with a vehicle Launch, Recovery, and Handling (LR&H) system for interface with the MK 18 Mod 2 UUV will be referred to as the ExMCM configuration. This configuration will have the capability to launch, recover, and handle two (2) UUVs using two (2) Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) davits and two (2) Contractor-built vehicle stowage cradles located in the aft deck of the boat for Mine Counter Measure (MCM) operations. A configuration of the Expeditionary 11m RIB referred to as the Very Shallow Water configuration incorporates an empty aft deck for the stowage and deployment of two (2) F470 Combat Rubber Raiding Crafts (CRRC) or one (1) F580 CRRC. The Government intends to procure molds/tooling for the new hull, deck and console as part of this procurement to use as Government Furnished Equipment for future procurements.
