Description

**ALL FIRMS ARE INSTRUCTED NOT TO CALL THE INDIVIDUAL VA MEDICAL CENTERS REQUESTING MORE INFORMATION. ** CONSTRUCTION PROJECT 36C25818B0337 Remove & Replace existing Underground Fuel Lines for Emergency Generators at Bldg-126 & 128, and move overfill alarm system, and Re-Route vent line.The Department of Veterans Affairs, Long Beach VA Health Care System (LBVAHCS) has a requirement for the installation of a facility wide Legionella Mitigation. The intent of the procurement is to award a firm-fixed price construction contract. Work includes, but is not limited to: Remove & Replace existing Underground Fuel Lines for Emergency Generators at Bldg-126 & 128, and move overfill alarm system, and Re-Route vent line. The Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for the completion of work. The Government will not reimburse the firm for their proposal preparation cost. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend a site visit; date, time and location of site visit still to be determined. Information regarding the site visit will be indicated in the solicitation when posted. All offerors are strongly urged to attend. Due to anticipated response and limited space, please limit the number of attendees in your group. Contractors shall contact Michael Banks. Contract Specialist, to indicate their interest in attending the Site Visit. Requests, in the form of an e-mail message to Jeffery.gray@va.gov must be received by the Contract Specialist prior to the scheduled site visit. Statement of Work, Specifications, and Drawings will be issued as attachments to the solicitation. The Long Beach VA Health Care System (LBVAHCS) Facilities Management Service Department requires a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, qualified supervision, engineering, and services for facility wide Legionella Mitigation. This notice is issued by NCO-22 Gilbert, Located in Phoenix Arizona. However, work be performed at the following VA facility: VA Long Beach Healthcare System 5901 East Seventh St. Long Beach, Ca., 90822-5201 This construction project will be solicited as a Total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS code) for this procurement is NAICS 541620 Environmental Consulting Services. Small Business concerns for this NAICS code have a size standard of $15M.   The resulting contract will be a firm fixed construction contract. The period of performance of the contract is intended to be 120 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, with no options included. The anticipated Range of Magnitude for this project, in accordance with VAAR 836.204 is projected to be: Between $250,000 and $500,000. It is anticipated that a Solicitation will be issued in July, 2018 It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ and www.sba.gov/, respectively. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE OTHER THAN WHAT IS NOTED HEREIN.
