- Sources Sought form for submission THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This sources sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, nor a Request for Quotations, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a contract or otherwise pay for the information solicited. No further information is available from The Ohio Air National Guard. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents as a result of this sources sought notice. The 179 th Airlift Wing, Mansfield, Ohio Air National Guard is issuing this notice to determine if there is an adequate number of qualified, interested small business concerns capable of providing and installing new Direct Digital Control (DDC) at our Mansfield, Ohio location. The project is for replacing antiquated digital control equipment with new DDC equipment, that operates our HVAC system on-base, which involves several buildings which shall be integrated into one overall system through direct digital control. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 334519 (Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing) and/or 334512 (Automatic Environmental Control Manufacturing for Residential, Commercial and Appliance Use). The small business size standard is 500 employees. The project is located at the 1947 Harrington Memorial Rd, Mansfield, Ohio 44903-8049. In accordance with FAR 19.5, Set-Asides for Small Business, the Government will review the information requested in this announcement to determine the potential for Small businesses to be able to provide for this requirement. Interested small businesses having the skills and capabilities necessary to provide for the stated requirements are invited to submit: (1) A completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form. (2) Positive statement of intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor. (3) Examples of similar work your firm has performed as the prime contractor and summary description of project. The attachments should not exceed five pages and not be handwritten. Small Business concerns who believe they can responsibly perform this requirement should complete and submit the attached Sources Sought Information Request Form and items 2 and 3 to the Contract Specialist no later than 3:00 PM EST, 12 July 2018. NOTE ; all contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) with DFAS Representations and Certifications completed, in order to receive a contract from any DOD activity. Reponses will not be returned. The information will be used to conduct market research to identify qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources and commercial practices in support of the government's requirements. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses received under this announcement. Contact with Government personnel, other than those specified in the sources sought, by potential offers' or their employees regarding this requirement is not permitted.
