All new and revamped, it promises to be better than before! Same great format of energetic free-flow networking with government agencies and large prime contractors. Same opportunities to learn more about doing business with the government and with other government agencies. There's something for everyone! Registration is limited, so register early! Check out the DyNet website for more information about this wonderful event. You can reach the homepage of the event via www.dynetworking.com to read what it's all about. Note the Erie page has not yet been posted however, the main DyNet page is very informative. NOTICE! The Federal government is buying and Federal Prime contractors are looking for qualified subcontracting partners! This year's main event will feature the US Navy's Office of Small Business Programs as keynote to discussing the upcoming Shipbuilding Plan of the USN Fleet and its expansion. Also present will be the US Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, which does much work within the Erie and Ontario lake shores as well as the Pittsburgh District which has multipurpose reservoirs and recreation areas within the northern portions of PA and OH. Small Businesses interested in the federal market are encouraged to attend this FREE regional event. Government agencies and prime contractors in a wide range of NAICS from the Tri-State area of Western Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio will be there to find qualified small businesses to help them meet federally mandated goals. While this is a tri-state event, all small AND LARGE contractors are invited to participate. Past attendees came from 10 states - truly a Regional event. Dynamic Networking for Small Business (DyNet)will give the Tri-State's small businesses the networking opportunities to match their capabilities with multiple federal agencies and prime contractors all at one convenient location and in one day. Through the combined efforts of the Northwestern Commission PTAC, small business assistance agencies, Federal partners such as the US Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo and Pittsburgh Districts, and the US Small Business Administration, Pittsburgh Office, and other federal, state, and local participants, this networking event makes a host of resources available to small businesses that it otherwise would not have access to without expending a great deal of time and effort. Large business prime contractors will be on hand to help mentor and partner with their small business brethren and this networking event is what it is all about. This is not structured matchmaking; it is a high-energy networking day without agendas, guest speakers, and a lot of other fluff. Creating a venue where networking is the main event brings everyone to the table - it is amazing what can get done over a cup of coffee. Small Business attendees are encouraged to maximize their time networking as well as take advantage of the learning opportunities offered. PLUS, organizations that support small businesses in the federal market will also be on hand to share their expertise. Workshops are also scheduled for presentation by multiple agency Subject Matter Experts. See the flyer included with this posting for a sampling of the training offerings. Networking runs concurrently with the training. Attendees can manage their own schedule, mixing training opportunities with networking. You may come and go as your schedule permits. The training schedule will be furnished to the registrants once finalized, however all sessions begin at 1:00 pm. If you are interested in expanding your business opportunities in the Great Lakes Region, THIS EVENT IS FOR YOU. Some of the agencies & prime contractors that are scheduled to attend this year's event are: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh/Buffalo Districts U.S. Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) U.S. Small Business Administration Veteran's Administration Contracting Defense Contracting Audit Agency BENCOR, a Keller Company PA COSTARS Lord Corp Ellwood National Forge ...and many more.
