Description

Intent to Sole Source MESO Quickplex SQ 120 (AI0AA-0) for Nashville VA Medical Center The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed contract to Meso Scale Diagnostics, LLC. 1601 Research Boulevard Rockville, MD 20850 A sole source procurement will be issued to Meso Scale Discovery, Inc. because MESO Quicklex product is only available thought MESO Scales Discovery. No other supply will suffice as this is a very specific scientific item. The QuickPlex instrument offers affordable access to high-performance electrochemiluminescence immunoassays. This compact system has been engineered for reliability, ease of use, and low cost of ownership. The combination of rapid read times and the ability to perform multiple, simultaneous tests on a single sample increases productivity, saves sample, and delivers results quickly. SCOPE OF WORK: Nashville VA Medical Center has a need for Meso Quickplex SQ120 for research and development. EQUIPMENT: Meso Quickplex SQ120 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than July 11, 2018 at 10:00 am CST to: Christina.Lawrence2@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
