Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of Other than Small Businesses and/or Small Businesses, including VIP-Verified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334510 (Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing). A GlideScope (Verathon Model) is known to meet the Government s needs. The Government is requesting that Other Than Small Businesses and Small Businesses, including VIP-Verified VOSB or SDVOSB sources respond if it can provide the following Brand Name or Equal: CLIN Item Description Qty Unit 0001 0270-0681 GlideRite Rigid Stylet 10 Pack 1 EA 0002 0270-0924 GS Ti Spectrum, SU, Prem. Cart 1 EA 0003 0800-0544 Spectrum Smart Cable 1 EA Salient Characteristics for GlideScope (Verathon Model) CLIN 0001 GlideRite Rigid Stylet Pack Must match the hyper angulated curvature of the blades being used CLIN 0002 GlideScope Titanium spectrum single-use Premium Cart Must have a digital display Display must be at least 6" diagonally Must be a cart based system Unit must have battery and AC power Internal battery provides power for up to 90 mins Unit must have an automatic shutoff feature Display must have HDMI video out port Unit must have a LED light source Must be able to be mounted on a cart or IV pole Must be able to take snapshots of intubation Must be able to take video recordings of intubation During intubation, the blade tip must be able to be seen on the monitor at all times CLIN 0003 Spectrum Smart Cable Must be compatible with Verathon LoPro S3, LoPro S4, MAC S3 and MAC S4 blades Must use blades that are single use Must be compatible with GlideScope AVL monitor The camera must have an anti-fog feature Cable must have a liquid ingress protection rating of at least 6 Cable must be at least 55in long from video monitor to camera Must connect video monitor to camera Interested Other Than Small Businesses and Small Businesses including VIP-Verified VOSBs and SDVOSBs are required to submit an e-mail delineating: Qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing this product; Business size/Socioeconomic status; If the product is on the Federal Supply Schedule or the Open Market; and Memo or correspondence from manufacturer to distribute their products. This is not a Request for Proposal/Quote or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs must be registered and verified in VIP for set-aside consideration. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334510 and the small business size standard is 1,250 employees. Responses should be submitted by e-mail to Carl Weber at carl.weber3@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 11:59pm. Central Standard Time on Friday, July 13, 2018.
