Replace and Correct Deficient Doors/Stairs/ Electrical/Steam Line Construction Services for Project #662-18-013 Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing an Invitation for Bid for General Construction Contractor. The project will be located at VA San Francisco Health Care. The intention of this project will be to: Task 1 Replace/Create Doors at various Buildings Task 2 Replace/Create Access Hatches at Building 200 Task 3 Modify B203 Penthouse Access Cage Gate Task 4 Paint Building 200 Penthouse and Building 203 Penthouse Floor Slabs Task 5 Install New Treads and Landings at Building 203 Stairwells Task 6 Replace Louvers at top of Building 203 East and West Stairwells Task 7 Replace Plumbing Sleeves of Building 2 West Pipe Basement Task 8 Steam System Work Building 2 Basement Various locations and Building 210 Task 9 Electrical Work in B200 Basement The duration of this project is 360 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued. The scope will include providing all materials, labor and supervision needed to perform demolition, reconfiguration, replacement, installation and commissioning as required by this scope and the technical specifications. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5M. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be a total Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set- aside. This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available on or about August 30, 2018.
