Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project #637-18-147, to Replace Roof B47, Sections C & D The Department of Veterans Affairs, Asheville, NC has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 637-18-147, to Replace Roof B47, Sections C & D for the Charles George Department of VA Medical Center (VAMC), 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville NC 28805. This project will consist of, but not be limited to, the removal of the existing roofing systems of Building 47 Sections C & D. The existing roof system will be replaced with a new 60 mil TPO fully-adhered membrane roof system including new tapered high thermal insulation system, corresponding flashing and new pre-engineered perimeter edge metals and will meet all manufacturers recommendations to obtain the required warranty. Ballast will be removed from roof and VA property. The lightning protection system will be removed and reinstalled and a master label will be obtained for the entire building 47 and ACA. Estimated construction magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS CODE: 238160 Size Standard: $15.0 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about July 20, 2018. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website.
