Page 1 of 1 This is a Pre-Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES UNTIL THE RFQ IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for the information resulting from this posting. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 8), James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), Tampa, FL, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for base and four year options to provide electronic journal subscriptions published by various publishers for medical e-journal subscriptions. See Price/Cost Schedule. The scope of this effort falls in line with VA s mission, goals and objectives in support of providing Veterans care. 1.The Contractor shall be responsible for the management, labor and equipment necessary to provide subscriptions for databases, e-books, e-journals, point-of-care and other related online services from multiple publishing houses to the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital Library Service. 2. Subscriptions shall include single or multiple addresses for domestic and foreign periodicals and related services. 3.Related services include paying publishers, handling claims for non-receipt, cancellations, submission of required reports and other service problems. NAICS Code 519130 (Internet Publishing and Broadcasting and Web Search Portals) (1000 employees SBA Size Standard) is applicable to this procurement. 36C24818Q9283 is anticipated to be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website on or about 09 July 2018. Quoters should continue to monitor FBO for the RFQ and any subsequent Amendments to that RFQ. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES AT THIS TIME.
