All work shall be accomplished in accordance to the project specifications and drawings. This project is to construct a new addition to the existing 185-RMM Building. The new building will be attached to the RMM Building with a connecting corridor. Existing fire alarm; PA system; Telecom/Data and security will be extended to the new structure. Base Bid is for a 6,570 sf expansion of the RMM Building with three Bid Options. Bid Option #1- Convert Restrooms to a Storm Shelter; Bid Option #2-Convert building from propane to natural gas; Option #3-Replace Existing Air Handling Unit #1. The estimated price range for this project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 It is anticipated that a firm-fixed-price type contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Your attention is directed to Sections L and M of SIR/RFO DTFAAC-18-R-00134 for instructions for preparation and submission of proposals. The SIR includes an evaluation of past performance. Offerors are required to provide Past Performance Surveys to customers/contractors who are familiar with the work ethic, standards, performance, and deliverables of the prime/general contractor demonstrated through previous or ongoing contracts of a similar nature [Provision L. 11 (f)(1).] Offerors will complete Page 1 and Page 2, Section A of the Past Performance Surveys and then provide the surveys to their customers, who will in turn complete and return the surveys directly to the Contracting Officer by the due date specified on the surveys. Two (2) to five (5) Past Performance Surveys must be submitted directly to the Contracting Officer. Surveys received after the established due date may not be evaluated. This requirement is 100% set-aside for competition among Small Businesses. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 23622 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The business size standard for thei NACIS is $36.5 million. A pre-proposal conference, followed by a site visit, will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. Attendees should enter the Aeronautical Center's main west entrance gate on South Regina Avenue and proceed to the Security Command Center. After the preproposal conference the attendees will be directed to the site visit located at 8101 S. MacArthur Blvd., OKC, OK 73169. Service trucks will need to enter through the Commercial Entrance on SW 74th Street.
