- TECHNICAL PROVISIONS - III SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS SMYU 19-4001 REPAIR MFH (MILITARY FAMILTY HOUSING), PARKING GARAGE, B1016 OSAN AB, ROK 1. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR DRAWING AND OFFER BREAKDOWN: This is the PRP packages for MATOC Work Plan Task Order Contract. So the provided contract drawings are just for information only. Full 100% drawings including the below additional drawings shall be submitted for technical evaluaton: 1. Side Walk Detail (Civil) 2. Drain Plan and Section (Civil) 3. New Interior Finish Schedule (Arch) 4. Lighting Fixture Detail (Elec) 5. Simulated Lighting Calculation (Elec) based on Lighting Design Criteria, UFC 3‐530‐01 Interior and Exterior Lighting Systems and Controls, with Change 3 (06‐01‐2016) for new LED lighting fixtures. 2. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: 2.1. Contractor's personnel or any representative of the contractor entering installation/base shall abide by all security regulations imposed by Installation Commander or Base Commander at all times and shall be subject to security checks. Contractor's personnel and property shall be subject to search and seizure upon entering the confines of the installation/base, while on, and upon leaving confines of the installation/base. 2.2. Escort Privileges: The contractor shall be responsible for adhering to the escorting privileges on base passes for the CM (Contract Manager), PM (Project Manager), CQCSM (Contractor Quality Control System Manager) and SSHO (Site Safety and Health Officer) with a limitation of three (3) persons and one (1) vehicle access per base pass. It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure that the escorting official has full control over all escorted individuals at all times. Any individual found on the installations unescorted will be removed from the installation or base and the escort officials escorting privileges will be immediately withdrawn. Any individual removed from these installations/bases will not be authorized further access to these installations/bases and may further be subject to other Government actions. 2.3. Return Post/Base Passes: On the contract completion date, the contractor shall turn in all passes to the sponsor that were issued for the contract and final payment will not be made until such items are returned.. PRINCIPLE FEATURES: This project includes the following principle features: 2.1 Civil Works 2.1.1 Replace Sidewalk 2.1.1.1 Remove existing sidewalk and stair around B1016. 2.1.1.2 Install new concrete sidewalk including soil back fill, expansion joint, and contraction joint. 2.1.1.3 Install new stair including soil back fill, subbase course, base course and foundation. 2.1.1.4 Install new hand railing including concrete foundation. 2.1.2 Repair Sloped Hill 2.1.2.1 Remove existing top soil on the hill 2.1.2.2 Remove erosion soil in the concrete ditch and on the 1st floor. 2.1.2.3 Repair existing concrete ditch. 2.1.2.4 Install new protected block including back fill, top soil, and anchor rod. 2.1.2.5 Install new solid sodding including back fill, fertilizing, top soil and positive drain. 2.2 Architectural Works 2.2.1 Repaint Stair and 4th floor inside wall 2.2.1.1 Remove whole coating as surface preparation on existing 4th floor wall, retaining wall, stair wall, stair ceiling, hand rail, hand rail, and canopy. 2.2.1.2 Repair crack on the concrete wall on the stair. 2.2.1.3 Apply one coat of primer (MPI-4) and two coats of latex (MPI-11) on the concrete wall and ceiling. 2.2.1.4 Apply one coat of primer (MPI-79) and two coats of alkyd (MPI-94) for steel handrail, guard rail, and decorative grille. 2.2.1.5 Prior to surface preparation and coating applications, remove, mask or otherwise protect hardware, hardware accessories, machined surfaces, radiator covers, plates, lighting fixtures, public and private property, and other such items not to be coated that area in contact with surfaces to be coated. 2.2.1.6 Replace copper plant and copper grille next to stair. 2.2.2 Recoat Floor and Line Marking 2.2.2.1 Remove and reinstall bicycle rack and parking stop on the floor. 2.2.2.2 Remove floor coating entirely and line marking including stair floor. Metal shot blasting removal is not allowed on Osan AB. 2.2.2.3 Install new vehicular deck four coating systems of elastomeric traffic bearing membrane, Vulkem #171(primer), #350NF(base coat, Min: 0.64MM(Millimeter), #346 (intermediate coat, Min:0.384MM), and #346 (top coat, Min:0.308MM) with silica sand by Tremco or approved equal including stair floor. 2.2.2.4 Install new line marking including letter, stripe, direction arrow, and room identification. 2.2.2.5 Install new self-leveling resin mortar including positive drain and waterproofing on the 4th floor. 2.2.2.6 Repair expansion joint, spall, crack, and damaged area. 2.2.3 Repair Drainage System on 3rd floor ceiling and 4th floor 2.2.3.1. Install new hole on the 4th floor. 2.2.3.2. Connect drain on the 3rd floor and install new drain line. 2.2.4 Replace down spout 2.2.4.1. Remove down spout. 2.2.4.2. Install new down spout next to the stair. 2.3 Electrical Works 2.3.1. Removal Light 2.3.1.1. Remove X marked parking lot lighting fixtures as shown drawing. 2.3.1.2. Remove X marked vapor proof lighting fixtures as shown drawing. 2.3.1.3. Remove X marked pole mounted lighting fixtures as shown drawing. 2.3.1.4. Remove X marked EXIT lighting fixtures as shown drawing. 2.3.1.5. Remove malfunction lighting contactors in the lighting contactor cabinets. 2.3.1.6. Remove X marked WP(Weather-Proof) GFCI(Ground-Fault-Circuit-Interrupter) covers. 2.3.1.7. Remain existing conduits, wires, and boxes. 2.3.2. Install Light 2.3.2.1 Install new LED parking lot lighting fixtures as shown drawing. New LED parking lot lighting fixtures shall be LED type and it shall include motion sensor, dimming with no activity and emergency battery pack. 2.3.2.2 Install new LED vapor proof lighting fixtures as shown drawing. 2.3.2.3 Install new LED pole mounted lighting fixtures with photo cell as shown drawing. 2.3.2.4 Install new WP EXIT light fixtures as shown drawing. 2.3.2.5 Install new lighting contactors in the lighting contactor cabinets. Contractor shall make the lighting contactor operable after replacing lighting contactors. Install new WP GFCI covers.
