- The Apache Development and Modernization Product Office (PM Dev/Mod), is hosting an Apache Capability Enhancements (ACE) Industry Days on 07-09 August 2018 at Torch Technologies, 4035 Chris Dr. SW, Huntsville, AL 35802. The purpose of ACE Industry Days is to provide Industry an up-to-date overview of the Apache Project Management Office strategy, approach, process, and overall Battle Rhythm for Apache Capability Enhancements (ACE) as well as provide updates on modernization activities and enabling engineering approaches. This will be the last ACE Industry Days that primarily focuses on level setting Industry's knowledge of Apache's approach for pursuing Capability Enhancements. Future ACE Industry Days will place focus on informing Industry of the Capability Enhancements being pursued in the Near, Mid and Far Term for the Apache Attack Helicopter as well as provide presentations of relevant information and activities. On Day 1 of the Industry Days, the Apache Development and Modernization Product Office will provide presentations and updates covering AH-64E V6 status, PEO Aviation Future Operations, Apache Modernization, Multi-Domain Battle Overview, enabling technologies/ engineering practices/ architectures, and Apache's Modernization Logistics Approach. On Day 2 of the Industry Days, PM Dev/Mods will host the first part of a two part Readiness Levels Workshop and offer 15 minute one on one sessions for Industry presentations. These activities will be held concurrently. - Part one of the Readiness Levels Workshop will place focus on introducing Technology, Material, Integration, and System Readiness levels individually. The purpose is to familiarize industry with each of the readiness levels and what it means when a readiness level for each is asserted. Part two which will be held in conjunction with the first ACE Industry Days in FY19 will place focus on looking at the readiness levels from an aggregate perspective, highlighting the impacts each readiness level has on the overall System Readiness Level. It is recommend that companies provide one programmatic and one technical representative (attendance will be limited to two representatives per corporation) to attend the Readiness Level Workshop. - Industry Sessions will be limited to presentation of information, there will be no Question and Answer interaction. The purpose of the Industry sessions is to provide companies an opportunity to offer a high-level overview of the company's core competencies, products/services offered, and highlight any of its Internal Research and Development (IR&D) activities past, current and/or future. The Industry Sessions will be hosted by the Apache Modernization Team. Industry Session, aka 'One on One Session', Request Instructions: If your company is interested in requesting a 15 minute Industry Session, please provide a separate e-mail requesting a time slot. This communication is separate from an attendance request and visit request described later in the notice. The 15 minute Industry Session request must be received no later than 25 July 2018. Questions may be submitted via note cards at this industry days' event or following the event via email as described below. The U.S. Government will respond to any questions submitted to this announcement within 60 days of the closing date of questions.
