Request for Information F-15 AVQ-20 Heads Up Display (HUD) High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS) FD2060-19-00060 The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the F-15 AVQ-20 HUD HVPS part number B54E0034-2, NSN 6130-00-500-7100FX. Preproduction First Article Testing (FAT) is a requirement of this acquisition to ensure the furnished product meets the established technical criteria. The Government's Best Estimated Quantities for this requirement are listed in the below table. The procurement actions are not anticipated past Ordering Period V at this time. To the best of the Government's knowledge, Boeing neither manufactures nor maintains stock of this item. The Government is searching for vendors with on-hand stock or the capability to manufacture the HVPS. The design is bound to the requirements of Specification Control Drawing B54E0034 and its associated Engineering Orders. The data associated with this acquisition is Export Controlled which is governed by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services. The contractor is responsible for providing, maintaining, and calibrating all support equipment required at their facility or a subcontractor's facility. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. 52.215-3 -- Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes. This document contains a description of the F-15 AVQ-20 HUD HVPS requirements and a Contractor Capability Survey. The Survey allows Contractors to provide their company's capability. 2. If, after reviewing these documents, you desire to participate in the market research, you should provide documentation that supports your company's capability in meeting these requirements. Failure to provide documentation may result in the government being unable to adequately assess your capabilities. If you lack sufficient experience in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to perform that portion of the requirement (i.e., teaming, subcontracting, etc.) 3. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research. Joint ventures or teaming arrangements are encouraged. 4. PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources to supply the F-15 AVQ-20 HUD component listed below: NOUN NSN P/N High Voltage Power Supply 6130-00-500-7100FX B54E0034-2 or 4-031-05 The HUD is mission critical and must be operational for the aircraft to be fully mission capable as it provides the pilot with visual representation of flight, navigation, attack, target, weapon, and advisory data. The HVPS is internal to the HUD and provides operating voltages to drive automatic brightness control, unblanking and phosphor protection circuits and high voltage to drive the Cathode Ray Tube (CRT).
