- Statement of work. In support of the DLA Contingency IT mission, DLA J64 Contingency IT has need of factory maintenance and reset for two AVL antennas. The maintenance must be completed by factory authorized personnel and include a thorough inspection, any software or firmware upgrades available, installation of an upgraded 16W BUC, and a report on any finding not covered by the upgrade and reset kit. The required solution will have a period of performance 12 months from the date of award with two option periods. CLIN Description QTY 0001 Upgrade and Reset for Tracy, CA 1 0002 Travel to/from Tracy, CA (Not to Exceed $) 1 0003 Upgrade and Reset for New Cumberland, PA 1 0004 Travel to/from New Cumberland, PA (Not to Exceed $) 1 0005 16 Watt Ku-Band BUC Upgrade (NJT8319UNMR) 2 0006 Option 1 Maintenance 1 0007 Travel (Not to Exceed $) 1 0008 Option 2 Maintenance 1 0009 Travel (Not to Exceed $) 1 DLA Contingency IT has two AVL antennas one located at New Cumberland, PA and the other at Tracy, CA. A Contingency IT (CIT) team will frequently deploy from either location in austere conditions with the AVL antenna to support deployed personnel with data and voice communications. The AVL antennas must be maintained in peak factory performance at all times to provide reliable communications in emergency and hazardous environments. In order to maintain peak factory performance DLA requires an antenna reset/upgrade at both locations, which must be completed by a factory authorized technician. Any maintenance activity performed by an unauthorized third party could impact antenna performance and will not be covered under warranty by AVL Technologies. Unauthorized maintenance cannot be considered reliable for antenna use in emergency or hazardous environments. The following are requirements of the requested maintenance: The maintenance must be completed by factory authorized person(s). The maintenance must include a thorough antenna inspection as defined by AVL Technologies. The maintenance must include replacement or refurbishment of any standard antenna components as identified by and included in authorized maintenance kit provided by AVL Technologies. The maintenance must provide any available software and/or firmware upgrades from AVL Technologies. The maintenance must include installation of an upgraded 16 watt BUC listed in section 3.0. The maintenance activity must provide a findings report of anything not covered by the maintenance/upgrade activity performed. All work performed must be warranted by AVL Technologies.
