Location Map Photographs Wage Determination Specifications Request for Quotations The U.S. Forest Service, Monongahela National Forest has a requirement for removal and replacement of cedar shake roofs on two picnic shelters and repointing and repair of approximately 425 square feet of flagstone floor in one of the picnic shelters and replacing approximately 12 square feet of plywood roof sheathing. This project is located in on the Gauley Ranger District, Nicholas County, approximately seven miles from Richwood, WV. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issued. The Forest Service contemplates award of a firm-fixed-price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used. A firm-fixed price award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the proposal that provides the best value to the Government. Best value will be determined by using the trade-off process as listed in FAR Part 13. In determining best value, the following factors will be considered: 1) Price, 2) Experience; 3) Past Performance. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business concerns. The Contractor must provide all management, supervision, personnel, transportation, supplies and labor necessary to perform these services on the Monongahela National Forest. The requested services are defined in the Description/Specifications. All quotes and required documentation shall be submitted to the U. S. Forest Service, Monongahela National Forest, emailed to Sharon Helms shelms@fs.fed.us or mailed to Attention: Sharon Helms, 200 Sycamore St., Elkins, WV 26241, no later than July 23, 2018, at 4:30 p.m., Eastern Time. Please include the solicitation number on the subject line of the email or the envelope. Fax quotes will not be accepted.
