- Item: Transmission, Mechanical Vehicular NSN: 2520-01-577-1841 Manufacturer P/N: 1001097193 Quantity: MIN: 4 EA/MAX: 225 EA FOB: DEST THIS PROCUREMENT IS RESTRICTED TO MANUFACTURER PART NUMBER: JLG INDUSTRIES INC., (CAGE: 1YHH8), P/N: 1001097193 THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE/SYNOPSIS; THE OFFER DUE DATE IS ON OR AROUND 2018-AUGUST-16 (4:30PM EST) (THE ACTUAL SOLICITATION IS STILL FORTHCOMING & WILL CONTAIN THE ACTUAL OFFER DUE DATE). THE SOLICITATION WILL EXPLAIN THAT THE DRAWINGS ARE INADEQUATE TO ENABLE COMPETITIVE BIDDING. THIS ITEM IS BEING RESTRICTED TO THE APPROVED SOURCE, WHICH IS JLG INDUSTRIES, LLC. (CAGE: 1YHH8) OR AN AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR. ONLY THE APPROVED SOURCES AND/OR DISTRIBUTORS WILL BE CONSIDERED ON THIS BUY. The solicitation will contain DLAD provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction, which allows for the use of a reverse auction as a pricing technique. After the solicitation closes, the contracting officer will determine if a reverse auction will be held. If a reverse auction is held, contractors must be registered in the reverse auction system in order to participate in the auction. Additionally, the contractor representative participating in the auction must have taken the on-line reverse auction training prior to the auction.
