- Description
- This is a notice to announce an upcoming Request for White Paper (RFWP) through the Sensors, Communications, and Electronics Consortium (SCEC) for the Development, Research, and Engineering of Advanced Microbolometers and ROICs (DREAMR) Prototype effort. The DREAMR program is a technology advancement effort to dramatically improve the state of the art in uncooled LWIR microbolometer sensors. The Government will seek approaches for the design and develop of innovative high sensitivity, high speed uncooled infrared (UCIR) imaging sensor components to enable future affordable imaging and simultaneous multifunction sensing capabilities for manned and unmanned Air, Ground, and Soldier platforms. It will focus on both the focal plane array (FPA) and read-out integrated circuit (ROIC). Please be aware that the specifications for the DREAMR program will be For Official Use Only (FOUO). For an SCEC member to receive information on these specifications, a DD Form 2345 must be approved and on file with the Consortium data custodian, Debra Paine (dpaine@sossecinc.com) to enable receipt of FOUO documents related to this prospective project. This request is issued according to the authority provided under 10 U.S.C. 2371b, Other Transaction Authority for Prototypes. If interested in participating as a consortium member, contact the following: Eugene Del Coco 570-236-9889 edelcoco@sossecinc.com
