- The Texas National Guard is seeking information from vendors who have prior experience and skills in setting up static C130 platform trainers. The below sources sought does not guarantee that the Texas National Guard will publish a solicitation or award a contract. If a solicitation is published, the Texas National Guard reserves the right to modify information and requirements as necessary for unit missions. Information required: Business name, type of business (Small business, veteran etc…). Also provide DUNS/CAGE codes of your business. Capability statement with minimum 2 years experience in providing these services Any respondent to sources sought must also provide a minimum of 4 references, to include Contracting Officer Points of contact and a copy of signed contracts for work. The intent of this sources sought is to identify qualified vendors and work with industry to clarify requirements. The Texas National Guard is not seeking nor accepting quotes. Any pricing information that is provided will not be considered or analyzed. Vendors are advised not to submit quotes at this time.. Information below does not commit the Texas National Guard to soliciting everything listed below, nor does it commit the Texas National Guard to follow specific vendor recommendations in a solicitation. Capabilities statement should address the following: Advising - Assist in completing AF 913 and transfer aircraft to parent unit in TXARNG Aircraft prep and transport – Lighten aircraft and remove wings and tail - Abide by USAF “pull list” - Proper disposition of all removed items, to include scrap - Arrange trucking of fuselage from location to Camp Swift, TX. Please discuss best practices on how equipment is typically transported to location to prevent equipment damage. Conversion and Mounting - Install all needed transformers, replace aviation hydraulic pump with commercial one. Aircraft electric will be set up ‘on the grid’ and will not require generators. Install climate control heat pump and ducting. Please note any additional requirements needed to make aircraft fuselage functional as a trainer. - Build concrete pad and mount aircraft on permanent stands - Cap tail/wings and paint aircraft as needed. Any other weatherproofing/elements protection services provided - Configure aircraft to support both Jumpmaster and Loadmaster training. Will include working cargo winches.
