- Description
- Project consists of biennial maintenance dredging of the Channel Islands Harbor federal navigation channel and sand trap, and maintenance dredging of Port Hueneme Harbor as needed. Majority of the dredge material is to be placed on Hueneme Beach located south of Port Hueneme Entrance Channel, approximately 2 miles from the Channel Islands Harbor sand trap. The proposed contract will contain a base dredging period (1st cycle), and two option periods (cycles) over a 5 to 6 year period. The service code is Y1KF. Proposed award to be made to the responsible bidder whose bid is responsive to the terms and conditions of the Invitation for Bids (IFB) and is most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price related factors included in the IFB in accordance with FAR part 14 Sealed Bidding. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. The NAICS code used for this acquisition is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. TENTATIVE DATES FOR SOLICITATION ISSUANCE IS JULY 20, 2018. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be awarded within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of bids. The Invitation for Bids/Plans and Specifications will be available only at the FedBizOpps (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov. No additional media (compact disks, floppy disks, faxes or paper) will be provided. Offerors are responsible for checking the www.fbo.gov for any update(s) to this Notice or subsequent solicitation.
