Description

Project No. 459-16-104 Install Building Pressure Monitoring System GENERAL INTENTION: VA requests complete construction services to perform work for Project No. 459-16-104 Install Building Pressure Monitoring System at VA Pacific Islands Health Care System, 459 Patterson Road, Honolulu, HI 96819-1522. Work shall be in compliance with the Inform Design s plans and specifications for Project Number 459-16-104 VA Building Pressure Monitoring System. PURPOSE AND NEED: The CFA and ACC facilities currently do not have any real-time ventilation pressure monitoring in various storage, locker, and utility rooms. Additionally, six rooms in the ACC currently only have local monitoring with visual alarms, and require audible and real-time monitoring integration. Pursuant to VA Memorandum Interim Guidance for Ventilation Requirements in Sterile Processing Service (SPS) dated 4 January 2012 and VA Design and Construction Requirements (http://www.cfm.va.gov/til/index.asp), the system shall result in adequate infectious disease control. CONSTRUCTION SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide complete construction services to install a building pressure monitoring system at Pacific Island Health Care System as outlined in Inform Design s plans and specifications for Project Number 459-16-104 VA Pressure Monitoring. The drawings and specification should be the basis of biddability and construction. Anticipated Order of Magnitude for this project is $500,000 - $1,000,000. Expected date for RFP posting is on or about 7/16/2018.
