- Statement of Work for Refurbished Tents This is a Request for Information (RFI) only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise. This is not an Invitation for Bids (IFB), Request for Quotations (RFQ), or Request for Proposals (RFP). The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI, nor will the Government reimburse the costs associated with the preparation of responses to this RFI. The information requested herein will be used within the Army to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. This RFI will be used to gather market research to make decisions regarding the development of acquisition strategies, and is not to be construed as a commitment of the Government. The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) seeks information concerning the offerors qualification statement to accommodate this requirement.The location of services is identified in the SOW. The market research conducted is to identify potential sources capable of providing Refurbished Tents.Interested vendors shall submit a capability statement no more than 5 pages in length describing their knowledge and capabilities. All responses shall be transmitted electronically to the Contract Specialist, Theodore Goutzioulis at Theodore.Goutzioulis.civ@mail.mil. The closing date for this RFI is 2:00 pm EST on Tuesday 12 June 2018. Attachments: To ensure that the offerors have a clear understanding of this requirement, a Draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached to this Request for Information (RFI). Please answer the following questions in capability statement. As a small business concern, we are interested in participating in the subject solicitation. _____Yes____No ii. We affirm that we have the requisite ability to comply with the performance limitations under FAR Clause 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, which requires a small business firm under small business set aside to perform "At least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern." ____Yes____No iii. Provide a narrative that demonstrates the contractor's capability to perform the requirements contained in the draft PWS. The narrative shall specifically address the scope of subject requirement and the ability of the offeror to manage it. Please limit narrative to four pages, single spaced, with font set to ten or greater. iv. Provide a summary of your company's specific, relevant past experience within the last 3 years. Each contractor's past experience summary should include (a) task order number (b) name of project, (c) brief description of project, (d) dollar value of the project, (e) period of performance of the project, and (f) relevance of task order to agency's requirements described in the attached draft PWS. Please provide no more than three references.
