The Contractor shall purchase a Wireless Gate Release System enables C-17, C-130, or any DoD airdrop aircraft loadmasters (LMs) to release bundles wirelessly while standing safely forward of the payloads during any airdrop mission. The WGRS will have the ability to eliminate the need for the LM to access every bundle and manually cut it free thereby allowing the C-130 to carry a full complement of payloads of 24 Container Delivery System (CDS) bundles and 250-13,000lbs per gate. Airdrop accuracy needs to be greatly improved with WGRS as the LM will be focused solely on activating WGRS precisely at Green Light and ensuring the payloads exit the aircraft safely and properly. The WGRS needs the ability eliminate the need for LM to focus on manually cutting each payload. These devices will be used on actual aircraft, and airdrop missions. The contractor shall provide weather resistant cases for WGRS to be stored on and off of aircraft. 2. The WGRS should come with the operator's manual and any accessories needed for maintenance and it should come with any military or standard commercial warranty.
