- This Request for Information (RFI) is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal. This request for information shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst NJ (NAWCADLKE) is looking for interested vendors to supply Electrically Operated 3-Way Ball Valves. The Electrically Operated Valve must be capable of switching a pressure transducer between a pressurized state and an unpressurized state (open to atmosphere for the purpose of providing no pressure to the pressure transducer). The valve must meet or exceed the specification of a Swagelok Part Number SS-83XPF4-42DCX which is a known product which satisfies the requirement. The 'SS-83XPF4' part of the PN is the 3-way ball valve and the '-42DCX' part is the electric actuator. Specifications for the 3-way valve -Material: 316 Stainless -Fitting sizes: ¼ NPT-18 (all three ports) -Flow pattern: 3-way, switching -Rating: 5000 PSIG @ 200 Fahrenheit -Sealing material: PEEK-PolyEtherEtherKetone (provides long service life, corrosion resistance, low coefficient of friction, high pressure capacity and a temperature rating of greater than 200 Fahrenheit. -Controlled Medium: Either Nalfleet 2000 diluted in deionized water or Ecosafe (biodegradable hydraulic fluid) depending upon application Specifications for Electric Actuator -Power: 24VDC to rotate actuator. 0VDC applied to hold position. -Status: Limit switches for indication of the valve's position -Mounting: Valve can be mounted via a vendor provided universal style bracket -Drive shaft: Stainless steel -Sealing: Electronics are in a NEMA 4 enclosure -Electrical connection: Screw terminals (wiring schematic included) Respondents to this RFI should provide the following: - Technical and experience information on their ability to provide that meets the parts list above - Identification of business size, specifically, small business size status ( i.e. Small Business, Hubzone, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc) -Rough Order of Magnitude pricing information. Also, all vendors must be registered in Systems for award Management (SAM Database. The internet website is hhtps://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. It is mandatory to register with the SAM as your DUNs Number (Data Universal Numbering System) and your CAGE CODE ( Commercial and Government Entity) code will be required to conduct business with the Department of Defense. in addition, all invoices will be electronically submitted in the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF); information will be available in subsequent order. Please include CAGE CODE, DUNs Number, and payment terms in your response. Responses should reference N68335-18-R-0312. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however all responses received within the 10 days of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Governement.
