36C25018Q0731 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE HIV/HCV Load Testing The Department of Veterans Affairs, The Cleveland Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center (CLE VAMC), 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio 44106 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 13.106(b)(1), Soliciting from a single-source. The NAICS code is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1,00. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Roche, 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250 for a HIV/HCV Load Testing. Due to space limitation and the types of testing required, the CLE VAMC will be negotiating a CAP/CTM 48 from Roche. This is to bring the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and the Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) viral loading in house. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 5PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.  All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.   A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation is available at this time. Please see attached (FBO) solicitation with mandatory and pertinent clauses.
