- Description: The U.S. Army Contracting Command- New Jersey, located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of Project Manager Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS), intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) to provide program support services for the life cycle management of programs within multiple ammunition product lines. The Large Caliber support services shall consist of three (3) support areas: Armor Brigade Combat Team (ABCT)/Current 120mm Subject Matter Expert (SME), Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT) SME, and Next Generation Combat Vehicle (NGCV) /Future Munition Integration SME to assist PM MAS with assigned Army missions. Under this program, the contractor shall provide PM Large Caliber with contractor program support services as well as experience and expertise in the areas of large (105mm and120mm) caliber ammunition as they pertain to the Army and the Department of Defense (DoD) in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) in Section C and all Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements. Duty station is Ft. Benning, GA but extensive travel will be required. The acquisition strategy is to solicit on a 100% Small Business Set-Aside (SBSA) basis. This requirement will be a competitive acquisition for a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a base award and four (4) one-year options. The period of performance for the base year will be from date of award through twelve (12) months. Each option year will be for a period of twelve (12) months each. The Government intends to utilize the Best Value trade-off method for selection of an award.
