- Please see attached Synopsis: 80NSSC18Q0663 NASA/NSSC has a requirement for Available GSA Schedule 98RK-1000000000 Scanner Interface Rack, 9816, Universal VAC Input, 1 Gigabit Ethernet 9816-0701060000 Pressure Scanner, Rackmount, 16 Ch, ± 15 PSID, Front QDC, Ethernet. 9816-2401060000 Pressure Scanner, Rackmount, 16 Ch, -12 to +50 PSID, Front QDC, Ethernet Open Market 9034-0300010300 Pressure Controller, 30 PSIA, ¼" Compression, Ethernet 9034-6500010300 Pressure Controller, 65 PSIA, ¼" Compression, Ethernet 9082-0000500000 Cable, Ethernet, Universal, 5 ft, Standard, Circular Twistlock Connections AWARD WILL BE ISSUED AS ALL OR NONE. NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to Measurement Specialties, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that Measurement Specialties, Inc. is the sole provider of NetScanner Pressure System NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Select Center. The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334519 Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on June 01, 2018. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
