- FSIS Laboratory intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Illumina, Inc. for the Illumina preventative maintenance. The Illumina's Inc. to perform preventative maintenance service on Illumina's equipment (MiSeq serial number M02848, MiSeq serial number M02854, MiSeq serial number M04082, MiSeq serial number M04086, MiSeq serial number M04770, MiSeq serial number M04790, MiSeq serial number M05429, MiSeq serial number M05435, MiSeq serial number M05433, MiSeq serial number M05436 to be serviced at the USDA, FSIS, OPHS, Eastern Laboratory located at 950 College Station Road, Athens, GA 30605. MiSeq serial number M04777 and MiSeq serial number M05430 to be serviced at the USDA, FSIS, OPHS, Midwestern Laboratory located at 4300 Goodfellow Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63120. The vendor shall send a technician to perform service within 1 to 3 business days of maintenance service call to guarantee equipment listed under Illumina's warranty. The vendor shall respond within 24 hours for emergency service calls. The vendor shall provide unlimited telephone support, labor, travel expenses and parts on-demand service visits at no extra cost. This requirement is not for new service it's for continuous maintenance service on existing equipment that is currently under warranty This procurement will be conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements Citation: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). Please submit your interest in response to this notice, and a description of your capabilities and past experiences to perform this requirement. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. The Government does not intend to pay for information received. All interested parties must respond within three calendar (3) days from the date of this notice. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating your firm's capability to meet the requirement with past performance history. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. If after Friday, June 9th, 2018 at 4:00 pm EST, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement; USDA/FSIS shall negotiate solely Illumina, Inc.
