Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. This is not a solicitation. A solicitation will be issued on or about 11 - 15 June 2018. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Long Beach VA Health Care System (LBVAHCS) has a requirement for construction services to repair and/or replace the steam line between building 6 and bldg. 50 due to the line leaking. The intent of the procurement is to award a firm-fixed price construction contract competitive set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) only. The Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for the completion of work. Work will be performed at the following VA facility: VA Medical Clinic 5901 E. 7th Street Long Beach, CA 90822 The applicable NAICS code is 237110 Construction management water and sewer line Contractors. Small Business manufacturers for this NAICS code have a size standard of $36.5M. The term of the contract is intended to be 240 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, with no options included. The anticipated Range of Magnitude for this project, in accordance with VAAR 836.204 is projected to be: Between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ and www.sba.gov/, respectively. A firm must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/. No state level certifications will be accepted.
