- Special Notice Request for Information Only The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for sources of the following. STATEMENT OF WORK/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Department of Veterans Affairs Portland VA Medical Center Overview: Portland VAMC requires Prospective contractors to provide the following LYNX MODEL 410LX CAGE & RACK WASHER. Brand Name or Equal per FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal to LYNX Product Group LLC 1 EA LYNX MODEL 410LX CAGE & RACK WASHER 1 EA LYNX SMART COOLDOWN SYSTEM Objective: Our objective is to provide Portland VAMC with necessary equipment to provide the best care for our veterans. Salient Characteristics The Government requires the following characteristics to be met: An acceptable workstation must have the following characteristics: cage and rack washer with a 46 W x 85 x 92L compartment to fit into the existing space with no need for modification with the below specifications: Overall Unit: 86 wide x 104 high x 100 long Double Door for Pass Through Operation Stainless Steel Insulated Construction on all walls where someone could touch Stainless Steel Recirculating Components and Piping Stainless Steel Steam Coil Heating One (1) 10HP Stainless Steel Treatment Pump Oscillating Jet System Automatic Self Cleaning Screen Temperature Guarantees Incoming Utility Gauges Illuminated Wash Compartment Personnel Safety Features Color Graphic Touch Screen Micro-Computer Control System 12 Programmable Automatic Multi-Phase Treatment Cycles House Water Temperature Booster Automatic Damper Drain Discharge Cool Down System-Injected Stainless Steel Service Access Panels Split Base for Egress into Building Seismic Tie Downs Factory programmed software restoration kit Modem for online service diagnostics Ethernet computer connection UL listed control panel Contractor will remove old cagewasher and install new one This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements vendor may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 6 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Only authorized representatives of the manufacturer will be considered. Equipment must be new, no used or refurbished equipment accepted. Responses are due by 06/04/2018 1:00 pm PST. In accordance with FAR and VAAR Part 8 and/or 13, this notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, 19 Jan 2017.
