Description

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to issue a sole source contract using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items to the Everbridge, Inc., 25 Corporate Drive, Suite 400, Burlington, Massachusetts 01803-4245. This requirement is for the renewal of a Mass Notification System for emergency alerts that supports the Continuity of Operations and Disaster Recovery Plans for OCC. The renewal of the Mass Notification System is critical to the functionality of emergency events, and is an integral part of the emergency communication strategy at OCC. Since implementation of this application, the OCC has invested time and resources for the continual updates of personnel data, preparation for staff registration and training. The period of performance for this requirement is July 29, 2018 through July 28, 2019 with four 12-month option periods. This is not a request for competitive quotation; a solicitation will not be issued. All quotations received in writing within five days after date of this notice will be considered by the Government. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide the services outlined in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
