Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO 17), El Paso, TX intends to enter into an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for temporary Psychiatrist services provided for the Amarillo Veterans Affairs Health Care System, Department of Mental Health. The term of the contract is a base period of (6) months with (2) / (6) month option periods if the requirement continues to exist. Solicitation documents are anticipated to be available June 18, 2018, or shortly thereafter and will be posted via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. Prospective Offerors should not expect notification of issuance of amendments other than via the FBO website and are responsible for obtaining all amendments as posted. Prior to submission of a proposal, Offerors are expected to read the solicitation documentation in its entirety to fully understand the scope of work and terms and conditions of the requirement(s). The VA anticipates posting the solicitation as unrestricted insufficient small business. The solicitation will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov. Interested Contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies are available. The solicitation will provide instructions to Contractors about the proposal (quote) submission process. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov under the applicable NAICS 621112 (Small business size standard of $11MIL).
