Description
Solicitation Copy to Submit SCOPE OF WORK This contract requires The Carlton Complex Fence Repair 2018 project consists of the repair of approximately.53 miles of burn damaged 3 strand barbwire fence, the repair of.25 miles of 4 strand barb wire flood damaged fence, reconstruction of.25 miles of 4 strand barb wire flood damaged fence, and the construction of.057 miles of new 4 strand barb wire fence. The reconstruction of flood damaged fence includes 8 stream crossings. FS fence design will be used for the crossings or as proposed by contactor. The burn damaged fenceline is all in a high severity burned forest. The flood damaged fenceline is all in green forest in or near the flood plain of Benson Creek. Fence materials will be provided by the Forest Service and will be available at the Winthrop District office. Contractor will furnish the necessary personnel, equipment, services, and facilities. The Forest Service will furnish all materials. PROJECT LOCATION All fencelines are located within the Carlton Complex Burned area on the Methow Valley Ranger District. The Frazer Creek fenceline can be accessed from Highway 20 on the Methow Valley side of the Loup Summit, the Wenner Lake fenceline is in lower Finely Canyon which is accessed off of Highway 20, and the lower Benson Creek fence is along the Benson Creek road off of Highway 153. No Pre Bid Meeting will be held. Project quoters are advised to visit the project site prior to submitting a quote.
