- SOURCES SOUGHT - Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Lackland Postal Services THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT REQUEST ONLY FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES. This request is issued for the purpose of gaining knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of members of the Small Business Community, to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), Service Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business's (EDWOSB) to compete for this requirement. Response to this request is strictly voluntary and will not affect any firm's ability to submit an offer if, or when, a solicitation is released. This information is for planning purposes only and does NOT constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of the submission of information in response to this Sources Sought Request. GENERAL INFORMATION: Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA Lackland, TX) is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for the Lackland Postal Services contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code will be 491110 and the size standard is $7.5 million. The Service Contract Act of 1965 will apply to this contract. Contractors must be currently registered in System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov). The contractor shall furnish all supervision, personnel, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and supplies to perform postal services in the operation of the Official Mail Center, Postal Service Centers, Central Mail Room and mail delivery to Activity Distribution Offices at JBSA Lackland, Lackland Training Annex, and Central Mail Room located at Port San Antonio TX.
