Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, North Atlantic Division - Philadelphia District is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement to install a 2 pipe terminal water to air heat-pump system with central boiler and chiller plants to maintain heat pump water loop temperature. Use of heat pumps allows for individual space heating and cooling control. Heat pumps will be capable of providing make up air and additional make-up air units will be located in the corridors as needed. This system type is well suited to the existing building as it requires relatively small, uninsulated pipe distribution, high operational efficiency, and small ventilation only ductwork. Construction is expected to be done in three phases, one for each end wing and one for the central wing for the Tobyhanna Army Depot. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 238220.
