- This is a synopsis for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 13.105 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to purchase on a competitive basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(a)(1), Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) Hose Assemblies on a Firm-Fixed-Price basis. This procurement will be solicited as unrestricted, as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 332912. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. The Government's anticipated CLIN structure is as follows: CLIN 0001: Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) Hose Assembly, First Article*; Quantity 1 EACH CLIN 0002: Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) Hose Assemblies; Quantity 27 EACH CLIN 0003: Shipping; Quantity 1 JOB CLIN 0004: Data: Quantity 1 LOT, Not Separately Priced (NSP) *NOTE: The First Article requirement may be waived at the discretion of the Government if the offeror has previously manufactured the specified HPU Hose Assemblies within the last five (5) years. Required documentation to be submitted by offerors for the Government to make this determination will be included with the Request for Quote (RFQ). The anticipated delivery schedule is as follows: Item Qty Delivery if First Article is Required Delivery if First Article is NOT Required First Article HPU Hose Assembly 1 EA Sixty (60) days after receipt of order (ARO) Ninety (90) days after receipt of order (ARO) CDRL A001 1 LOT Sixty (60) days after receipt of order (ARO) Not Required HPU Hose Assemblies 27 EA Ninety (90) days After First Article Acceptance (AFAA) Ninety (90) days after receipt of order (ARO) CDRL A002 1 LOT Ninety (90) days after First Article Acceptance (AFAA) Ninety (90) days after receipt of order (ARO) Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport, RI 02841. The drawings associated with this requirement are labeled Distribution D which means distribution is authorized to the DOD and US DoD Contractors with a valid Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification. Only offerors with an active registration in JCP will be provided access to the drawings. Upon RFQ issuance, please visit http://www.dlis.mil/jcp for further details on the program and registration. To obtain a copy of the drawings your account in FBO needs to reflect your JCP certification. The drawings are uploaded to the site as an attachment with limited access by JCP certified companies only. The anticipated release date of the RFQ Number N66604-18-Q-2344 is 04 June 2018 and will be posted for less than 30 days in accordance with FAR 5.203(b).
