- Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C25218B0957 Project: Replace Nurse s Station Bldg 217 Project Number: 578-18-3-6997-0430 Location: Hines VA Hospital, Hines, Illinois Edward Hines VA Hospital has a requirement to replace the worn and damaged millwork nurses stations with new government provided modular work stations for safety and ADA improvements the Edward Hines VA Hospital Campus, Hines, Illinois. The existing nurse stations are original to the building when it was built in 1983. The stations are dilapidated and dated. Over the years repairs have been required due to sharp edges and injuries to employees. The project magnitude price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a size standard $36.5 Million applies. The project is scheduled to have a period of performance of 81 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) will be posted to FedBizOpps (https://www.fbo.gov/) on or about May 24, 2018. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for June 25, 2018. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through will be scheduled for the week of June 4, 2018. The exact date, time and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation will be issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bid, the bidder must represent that it is a SDVOSB concern, a small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to the acquisition, and is CVE verified for eligibility in the VIP database. All interested parties shall have a current registration and current annual On-line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in the System Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov prior to award.
