- 1. Introduction/Purpose The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center located in Atlantic City International Airport, Atlantic City, NJ has a requirement for Multi Gas Analyzers. 2. Nature of Competition The acquisition strategy for the procurement has not been determined at this time. The results of this market survey will be used as a determining factor in deciding on the level of competition. Please note: Based on the FAA ™s AMS policy at 3.2.1.2.3, the use of agency wide contracts must be used to the maximum extent possible and the responses to this announcement will be used as a determining factor regarding whether the use of an existing agency contract vehicle is appropriate. 3. Standard Language Interested companies are reminded that “ (a) This is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or Request for Proposals of any kind; (b) The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; (c) The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey; and (d) Any costs associated with the market survey submittal are solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. 4. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code The projected NAICS code for this requirement is 334513 (Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables) with an applicable size standard of 750 employees. 5. Submittal Requirements for Market Survey Interested companies are required to submit the following: (a) Capability Statement “ Submit a summary of your firm ™s capability in meeting the FAA's requirement as specified in the attached Statement of Work document. 6. Delivery of Submittals Vendors must contact the Contract Specialist, David Ujcich, with any questions regarding this market survey via email at david.ctr.ujcich@faa.gov. All submittals must be received via email at david.ctr.ujcich@faa.gov no later than 1:00 PM (EST) on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. 7. Other (a) The FAA does not anticipate a site visit prior to submittals in response to this market survey announcement. (b) Any confidential or proprietary information submitted in response to this announcement must be marked accordingly by the vendor. Such information will not be disclosed outside of the acquisition team. 8.
