Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Charleston SC VA Medical Center, has a requirement to purchase an ImageStream X-Mark II system and components, a High-Content, imaging flow Cytometer to support research at their facility. The required system must be equipped with violet, green, yellow and blue lasers with workstation, extended depth of field and multiple magnification objectives including 60x, 40x and 20x. This system provides traditional flow cytometry performance, coupled with classic fluorescent microscopy. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS This system must be able to image cells during flow cytometric analysis obtaining up to 12 images of a single cell in as many as 10 colors, in addition to forward and side scatter parameters at a rate up to 4,000 events per second. The system must be able to generate images that are comparable to those produced by a 20X, 40X, or 60X fluorescence microscope. The system must include a workstation equipped with Amnis IDEAS analysis software to allow investigators to examine the images of any single cell or population of cells by simply clicking on a single dot or drawing a region around a population of interest. The product is amenable to multiple areas of research and will improve efficiency of analysis and quantity and quality of data. This instrumentation allows for quantitative data from microscopic images. The vendor must be able to provide a product brand name or equal to the equipment described above. Performance Period: Anticipated delivery within 90 calendar days of award, unless otherwise specified at time of order. Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however; any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Monday, May 21, 2018, 4:00 PM, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Elaine DiBucci at elaine.dibucci@va.gov and should include company name, address, point of contact, business size, and product information. The submission must address specifically each of the salient features and how the vendor s product meets these requirements. No telephone responses will be accepted. This notice is to assist the Government in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. A brand name or equal solicitation on either FBO or GSA may be contemplated as a result of this notice.
