- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, East Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Solicitation to rehab the Estuary Viewing Boardwalk located in Charles Pinckney National Historic Site in Mount Pleasant, SC on or about 28 May 2018. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5118R0025. The work of this contract will consist of the rehabilitation of the estuary viewing boardwalk. The boardwalk is a primary element of the walking trail that provides for visitor enjoyment and education of the cultural landscape. The boardwalk is approximately 120 ™ long and the work to be performed shall include, but is not limited to the following: Replacement of decking boards, Replace railings/balusters, and replacement of any damaged or deteriorated structural framing or supports. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) or Statement of Work (SOW) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238190. The small business standard is $15M. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only one (1) site visit is will be scheduled for this action. Details will be provided with the solicitation. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the end of June. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Charleston County, South Carolina will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on FBO.gov (Federal Business Opportunities) on or about 28 May 2018. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. After issuance of solicitation, send any inquires via email to celinda_hicks@nps.gov by 1700 (ET) on 22 June 2018. NO oral questions will be accepted. NOTE: No additional information is available until the solicitation is released. No bidder list is maintained by the Contracting Officer, however, you can add your name to the "Interested vendors" in the solicitation and the system will notify you of any update.
