Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs, Iowa City, IA, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority FAR 6.302-3 with the University of Iowa for the period of 7/1/2018 to 6/30/2019 for The University of Iowa, Department of Internal Medicine will provide subject matter expertise in microbiological data collection, site evaluations, and survey instrument development. This will be a fixed price contract with University of Iowa, Department of Internal Medicine who will provide necessary labor to conduct work on two Iowa City VA Health Care System, HSR&D, CADRE pilot projects Measuring Transmissibility of E coli vs. Klebsiella; and The CREATE MRSA Surgical Site Infection Bundle 2.0 implementation study, Eli Perencevich, MD, Principal Investigator. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Request for quotes 36C26318Q0348 for above requirement, NAICS 611310, size standard $33.5 million will be issued on 5/14/2018. The deadline to submit a quote is 5/16/2018.
