Description

J&A As part of FDA's continued focus on building a national governance system for evidence generation, this Statement of Work (SOW) seeks to obtain Reports produced by NAS in order to establish nutrient requirements of animals in the United States and throughout the world and assist federal agencies in various types of regulatory decisions. The reports provide guidance to FDA and to feed manufactures and other entities that must meet FDA regulations. Although the primary focus of the Animal Nutrition Program is the preparation of the nutrient requirement series, which is a series of reports providing the nutrient requirements for animals used in biomedical research and economically important domestic animals, it also identifies and addresses emerging concepts and other issues in the field of animal nutrition.
