- This is a notice of intent that Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) Robins Air Force Base anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) contract to purchase: NSN 5905ND163559LCW, P/N 127-0385-01 a one-time purchase of fifty (50) Resistors. The end item is in support of the Longitudinal Accelerometer Type 345G-1 on the KC-135 Weapon System. This will be a one-time purchase only. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Carp Industries Corporation (CAGE Code: 0DX95) under authority of FAR 6.302-1. However, Interested Party or Person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the 30 days after issuance of solicitation, or 45 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting a Statement of Capabilities to contracting officer. A determination by the Government whether or not to compete the contract based upon an assessment of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. All proposals received within forty-five (45) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. The intended source for this acquisition is: Carp Industries Corporation CAGE Code: 0DX95 Address: 4550 S US Highway 1 Grant, FL 32949 Specifications, plans, or drawings related to this procurement are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serous contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
