DEBAKEY VA MEDICAL CENTER (VAMC), HOUSTON, TEXAS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 36C25618Q9413 BACKGROUND: The Houston VAMC has a requirement for the following brand name supplies: Each vendor s offering will include an on-site presentation, a written proposal, and a technical delivery plan. Specifications Description QTY Width tolerance +2 /- 1, Depth + 2 /- 1. Height +2 /-1 Cart shall be of sturdy metal based construction. Acceptable materials include Steel and Aluminum Platform measures 28 x 30 Exposed surfaces must be treated to prevent rust or other oxidation from normal usage and repetitive cleaning. NO slide out work surfaces are requested. Black ink on white background preferred. Drawers must extend fully to allow access to entire drawer and have safety mechanism to prevent accidental drawer removal while opening. Drawer rails must be able to support a minimum of 25lbs per drawer without flexing. Dual-locking system (Drawers 1 and 2 will be on one-lock, and Drawers 3-5 will be on second lock) Lockable Castor wheels of no less than 4-inch diameter. All wheels must allow 360-degree steering. 4-sided rubberized bumper to protect cart and facility walls. Cord management bracket should be located near strip for storage of cord while in transport. Left Side: Handles for pushing cart.
